BGMI, TikTok may return to India SOON; know reason why
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Will BGMI make its comeback in India? Skyesports CEO has some good news for BGMI fans.

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) ban from the Google Play Store and Apple’s App store left fans disheartened recently. Several reports suggested that in adherence to the Indian government orders, BGMI was banned in India over data concerns. However, this is not the first time a popular Chinese app has been banned in India. Earlier, PUBG: Mobile, Garena Free Fire, and even the internet sensation TikTok along with hundreds of other apps were banned too. However, if sources are to be believed, a few popular apps may make their comeback soon.

Shiva Nandy, Founder and CEO of Skyesports, the leading esports & gaming venture in South Asia suggests that TikTok and BGMI will return to India soon! Shiva Nandy took to his Instagram account to share his views and claimed that BGMI isn’t banned in India yet, as it has just been removed from the app stores due to the interim order from the government. “According to sources, Tik Tok is all set to make a comeback. In that case, BGMI will be 100% back. Hopefully, if everything goes well, there will be independence soon!” Nandy said in his Instagram story, SportsKeeda reported. While bringing the good news for BGMI fans, he also claimed that the BGMI ban in India was not a sudden decision at all! The Indian government had been contemplating the possible removal of the BGMI app for months.

As reported by Sportskeeda, Nandy said, “It was not an immediate action. It was in the process for almost five months. In fact, one week before removing the game from the Play Store, an interim notice was sent to Krafton HQ by the government. Two days before the game was removed from the store, we got a hint, and that is why most of the advance amount is to be paid for the Skyesports League, LAN Delhi,”

Will BGMI and TikTok make their comeback to India? This is still unknown! BGMI fans should note that neither BGMI’s developer Krafton nor the government has confirmed any of these claims. All you can do is continue enjoying the game in case you already have it downloaded on your smartphone. Otherwise, you will just have to wait.
