The PlayStation Plus August 2022 lineup is here. The list includes Dead by Daylight, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Yakuza 0 and more. Check details and when you can start playing.

PlayStation Plus August 2022 Games: The PlayStation Plus only released three games last month, which disappointed a few gamers. In the month of August, however, they are all set to compensate for the previous month by offering 11 games in one go. Among them, you get the famous JRPG (Japanese role-playing game) series Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2. You will also get to play the popular 1vs4 multiplayer Dead by Daylight, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands and Bugsnax. Additionally, there are 5 more games which will be released on August 16.

PlayStation announced the games in its blog post on August 10. Announcing the list, it said, “Today we’re happy to reveal August’s Game Catalog lineup for PlayStation Plus, which will be available to play for Extra and Premium members on August 16. It’s headlined by three Yakuza games (which will soon be followed by other entries in the series later this year). But rubbing shoulders with the crime series will be multiplayer horror Dead by Daylight, open world shooter Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands and whimsical adventure Bugsnax”.

The Yakuza series

Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are the first three titles being offered by PlayStation Plus. You will need an Extra or Premium account to play any of these games. The series is a crime fantasy action-adventure RPG played from a third-person perspective. As protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, you have to go on scary missions in order to become the biggest crime syndicate of Japan.

Dead by Daylight

Developed and published by Behaviour Interactive, the game is a 1 vs 4 survival horror asymmetric multiplayer online game. Here one player takes on the role of a killer and the other four become survivors. The killer has to catch each survivor and sacrifice them by impaling them on hooks, while the survivors must avoid being caught and fix five generators to open the exit gates.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands

Developed and published by Ubisoft, it is a third-person tactical shooter game set in an open world environment. Players play as members of the Delta Company, First Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group, also known as “Ghosts”, a fictional elite special operations unit of the United States Army under the Joint Special Operations Command. The team has to take down the Santa Blanca Cartel and its boss El Sueno in Bolivia.

Bugsnax

It is an adventure game developed and published by Young Horses. Player has to explore the Snaktooth Island and find out about a missing explorer. And to do that, the player has to capture various bugsnax — half bug and half snack creatures.

Apart from them, five more titles are also coming to PlayStation Plus on August 16. They include Metro Exodus, Trials of Mana, UNO, Monopoly Madness, Monopoly Plus.
