Brax is thoroughly embarrassed at the beginning of this because he knows that his brother, per their history, is going to fail on an epic scale, but it’s actually quite different, what happens. So this scene was designed to accomplish several things as we move deeper into the second act of the movie. Oh, no.” “Khaki pants here wants to scrap.” “Oh, goodness.” So he manipulates that so Brax can have and experience as much joy as Christian did. “Come on now.” “Don’t, Jerry!” And then we see the results. And you may notice at the end, Brax is wearing the cowboy hat of the guy that gets thrown out the window.
