The arrival of the Xbox Series X and Series S happened at a time when the world had just undergone a deadly pandemic and a major chip shortage followed soon after. Microsoft had said that its next-gen consoles will be hard to get considering the chip shortage as well as the logistics issues.

Despite that, the Xbox Series X has been available in international markets easily. Moreover, Microsoft had made the cheaper Xbox Series S available frequently. The Xbox Series S is smaller and watered down version of the Series X, having much lesser firepower. Unlike the Series X, the Series S can only play games 2K resolution and the storage is halved by 512GB. The Xbox Series S also has much lesser processing power.

While the Xbox Series X is listed at the same launch price of Rs. 49,999, the Xbox Series S has seen some price cuts lately. On Flipkart, you can get the Xbox Series S can be had for as low as Rs. 30,490 with the Fortnite and Rocket League bundle. That makes the Series S a tremendous deal for gamers on a budget.
