Iolanta Released A New Single & Visualizer for Hit Record “Power” — Following Breakout Anthem “Unbreakable”

Signed to Just Call Me By My Name, the record label launched by Daniel’s Music Foundation (DMF), Iolanta continues to channel her remarkable life journey into music that moves, inspires, and empowers. Diagnosed with retinal cancer as an infant, Iolanta lost her sight at just nine months old following a five-hour surgery. By age two, she had already undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy and beat cancer. Her music is born out of that profound journey—infused with heart, grit, and vision.

On “Power,” Iolanta declares with unwavering confidence: “Climbing to my power, they can’t bring me down now.” The track combines a modern pop sound with emotionally resonant lyrics that speak directly to anyone who’s ever faced adversity. It’s the latest from a growing body of work released by the record label Just Call Me By My Name® that explores themes of empowerment, positivity, and thought-provoking music by artists with disabilities.

“Unbreakable,” released in July 2024, introduced audiences to Iolanta’s voice and spirit. That single quickly became an anthem of resilience and was praised for its soulful melody and message of hope. “Power” takes that energy even further—showcasing Iolanta’s evolving artistry and fearless sense of self.

“I want people to hear these songs and feel like they’re not alone,” Iolanta says. “You can be scared and still be strong. You can be different and still be powerful.” Both singles are available now on Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, and all major streaming platforms, as well as through Just Call Me By My Name® and DMF’s official channels.

The official music video for “Power” will premiere in May, bringing Iolanta’s powerful message to life with striking visuals that reflect her bold artistic vision.

About Iolanta

At just 13 years old, Iolanta is a blind singer/songwriter using her music to uplift and connect. Her artistry is deeply informed by her lived experience—from surviving cancer to navigating the world without sight. Her voice and message resonate far beyond her years, earning her early recognition as a powerful emerging artist. All profits from her music support free, inclusive music programs for individuals with disabilities through Daniel’s Music Foundation.

About Daniel’s Music Foundation & Just Call Me By My Name

Founded in 2006 by the Trush Family, Daniel’s Music Foundation (DMF) empowers individuals with disabilities through the transformative power of music. From their 8,700-square-foot music center in New York City to their nationwide DMF Online Community, they provide access to music for all and celebrate differences. Their record label, Just Call Me By My Name®, furthers that mission by spotlighting musicians with disabilities and directing music profits toward funding free music programs. The Foundation also produces The Danny Awards, an annual, global award show that highlights artists with disabilities and recognizes their incredible contributions to the world of music.
