Danny Parlin has been crushing it in the tradeshow world since 2014. He’s one of the few guys you’ll find working as a “booth babe”—yeah, those exist—and if there’s a major convention in Las Vegas, chances are Danny’s been there. With close to 400 events under his belt, he does everything from production assistance to product demos to lead generation. This year alone? He’s already clocked over 70 conventions, and we’re not even done with 2025 yet.
After more than a decade in the convention circuit, Danny’s become a pro at connecting with people and making any product or service sound worth checking out. His booths have snagged multiple Most Loved Awards at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and along the way, he’s built up an impressive network of industry contacts. He’s also got all-access credentials at pretty much every top convention venue in town.
Danny’s background in modeling, sales, and hospitality taught him what it takes to be a great brand ambassador and how to genuinely engage with guests. He says his secret weapon is just good communication and people skills—basically the stuff that makes guests remember their experience.
When we asked him about it, Danny said: “My hospitality career laid the foundation for the way I approach event production today—prioritizing consumer satisfaction, seamless operations, and elevated guest experiences. With my bartending background, I’ve always believed everyone should work in the service industry at least once; it teaches the kind of social and emotional intelligence that no classroom can replicate. Those soft skills—reading a room, anticipating needs, communicating under pressure—have proven invaluable throughout my transition into event production. They allow me to not only manage the logistics of an event, but to shape environments where guests feel taken care of from start to finish.”
These days, Danny’s taken on team lead roles with an even dozen agencies. He led 140 ambassadors for the 2025 SAP Connect show, and recently added “show producer” to his resume. His reputation speaks for itself—dozens of top-tier ambassadors have endorsed him on Trusted Herd, which is basically the go-to reputation platform for live events in the U.S. and Canada.
People know Danny as someone who stays cool under pressure and gets results. Silver & Black Hospitality praised his ability to “think creatively and quickly solve problems by being resourceful” in a 2024 review. Current leadership at the Venetian Expo called out his talent for adapting on the fly while staying calm and composed. Even Trade Show Executive Magazine noticed him, naming Danny “One to Watch” after seeing him handle general sessions and keynotes. The fact that he keeps getting rebooked by top experiential marketing agencies says everything about his dedication and professionalism.
Danny likes to call himself a “Swiss Army Knife”—he’s versatile, adaptable, and can handle pretty much anything thrown his way. Whether it’s starting conversations, pulling crowds to a booth, or crushing sales and lead goals, he’s got it covered. If you want to book him, you’ll need to plan ahead—his calendar’s usually filled one to two months out.
When he’s not working conventions, you’ll find Danny behind a bar. He bartends at a popular downtown nightclub, does private events, and serves as Lead Bartender at KMA, the sister venue to Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. His bartending skills earned him three straight nominations for Best Bartender in Las Vegas by Vegas Seven Magazine. Recently, he launched his own luxury mobile bartending business to bring high-end service straight to clients, all while leading teams across stadiums, arenas, convention halls, and the Tao Group network around the city.
Despite his packed schedule, Danny finally took his first real vacation in 10 years—totally earned after a decade of non-stop hustle. When he’s not working, he is putting in work at the gym. A competitive runner, he stays active with boxing, judo, and Pilates, and unwinds with his son and his girlfriend over horror movies, books, and live performances. At the end of the day, what matters most to Danny is building solid client relationships and being the person people want to bring back for their next big event.
