After the large anti-immigrant demonstration in England, where British Nigel Paul Farage(1964-) and Danish Morten Messerschmidt( 1980-)participated, it became necessary to discuss why and how right-wing extremism and nationalism were once again put on the agenda. The streets in several European countries, such as the Netherlands, Ireland, and Poland, were stormed by anti-immigrant protests. They protested against mass immigration and claimed that immigrants bring crime and chaos. In addition, immigrants often receive free housing and other social benefits, while others must stand in line and fight for them.
Anti-immigrant attitudes have always existed in Europe, but were previously called racism, just as anti-Jewish arguments were called anti-semitism . Here, we see two concepts that have been created to protect minorities and, to some extent, prevent chaos and violence. Unfortunately, these two concepts have been widely exploited both by the Israeli state and pro-Israel lobbies and by Muslims who used the word racism against white Christians. As we all know, Islam is not a race, and an argument against Islam cannot be racism. Let us take a closer look at the Western democracies.
The Western democracies functioned almost perfectly at first when the West succeeded in granting women the right to vote, but things did not go very well when the Middle East attempted to imitate the West. In the Middle East, there are several minorities and groups. Many minorities still define their identity according to their ethnicity. This Western so-called democracy, which was in reality a majority dictatorship , experienced problems in the Middle East when the various minorities did not want to put up with it, while things were going well in the West, Charles Montesquieu(1689-1755) .When Muslims from the Middle East came to the West, it created an imbalance in this democracy. The majority could not accept a threat to the balance of power.
If Zygmunt Bauman(1925-2017), a Polish writer, wrote that nationalism is a relic of the past in the context of the EU, where borders have been removed, we see today that he was utterly wrong. History has shown that nationalism and religion are often intertwined, as states often utilize these two concepts to govern. For the Christian majority to continue to secure political influence in society, they began to recreate nationalism and alienation among Muslim minorities. It was mainly about religion, and this is where Western racism differs. We can agree that German racism is more of a reality than Danish racism, but why has Germany been more lenient about Muslim immigration?
In Iran, Shia Islam is the state religion. This means that Iran can never become a democratic country as long as the country only represents one specific religion. In Denmark, a Christian country, Lutheran Protestantism is the state religion, which raises questions about Danish democracy. Germany or the USA looked more like a democracy. Canada has a strong federal system of parliamentary government, but the monarch, who only represents a specific majority, makes the country less democratic. Here, I must reiterate that a majority dictatorship is not a democracy.
Western countries, through reforms and secularization, moved more towards democracies. Democracy is a Western invention that Western countries have used to influence the East. All countries in the world contain both democratic and dictatorial elements. Some countries are moving toward a more democratic system, while others are moving toward a more authoritarian system. As long as concepts such as national security exist, we cannot discuss freedom without considering the state’s ability to limit it at any time. For example, in a state of emergency, legislation is suspended, and you temporarily lose some of your rights as a citizen. We also saw videos of the brutal German police on social media against demonstrators. The state can also choose to keep a case secret forever or even arrest and ban journalists.
The right wing blames the state in England for the grooming scandals in Rotherham, Telford, Rochdale, and Oxford, among others. Here, thousands of young girls were subjected to systematic sexual exploitation, violence, and threats—often by groups of men with a Pakistani background. For years, the authorities did nothing. The England we see today looks more like a surveillance society than a free democracy. Moreover, England and Germany have the highest number of arrests in Europe related to social media opinions.
History has shown that communism, globalism, and Islamism have stood together in the fight against capitalism and nationalism. In contrast, nationalism exploited the words “traitor” and “a common identity” in Europe, as people experienced inflation and a housing shortage. Shortly after the coronavirus crisis, the war in Ukraine began. A war that lasted for years. From the start of the war through June 2025, Europe has allocated at least EUR 35.1 billion in military aid via defense procurement—EUR 4.4 billion more than the United States. Today, England has a significant amount of debt that it borrowed during the crisis. England failed to utilize its full capacity and invest in innovation and productivity. The English are now hoping for a new Margaret Thatcher (1925-2013) who can get them out of trouble.
The New World Order
It all started when German Chancellor Angela Merkel (1954-)lost her position. During her time, Germany developed a good relationship with Russia. This meant that the U.S. no longer trusted her, which is why it was later revealed that U.S. President Barack Obama(1961-)had authorized the tapping of her phone. A strong Germany under Angelina Merkel not only meant less American influence but also a stronger Europe. As German Chancellor Otto von Bismarck(1815-1898), she signed a kind of “Reinsurance Treaty” with Russia. Bismarck was well aware that a strong Germany could only be achieved through a good relationship with Russia. France and England did not like this. Do not forget that Germany and England have always been rivals throughout history.
As soon as Angela Merkel disappeared from the scene, the U.S. tried to take advantage of the opportunity. Now the U.S. had the opportunity to make Europe weak and dependent again. Many people think that Europe and the U.S. are allies, but this is a significant mistake. As American President Donald Trump(1946-) has said, they are competitors, and a competitor does not like to admit that others are stronger. Therefore, through Poland, the U.S. tried to impose its policy.
Already in 2015, Polish nationalism had made Poland a US-friendly country in Europe. Polish nationalism now had the chance to become America’s favorite and, at the same time, bring back its pride from Russia. From the Russian Empire to the Soviet Union, Poland has suffered massively under Russia. By the end of 2019, PGNiG’s management had already decided not to extend the Yamal contract, which was set to expire at the end of 2022. The Yamal contract was a Russian-Polish gas contract. Poland had chosen to source gas from Qatar, the USA, and Norway instead.
On April 26, 2022, Gazprom announced it would stop delivering natural gas to Poland via the Yamal–Europe pipeline, as well as to Bulgaria, as both countries had rejected Russia’s demand that payments for gas be made in Russian rubles. The USA is using Poland as a shield against Russia. Poland, which has long sought to be a proud, strong country independent of German and Russian influence, is seizing the opportunity and taking on the role. Therefore, the USA is now choosing to station its soldiers in Poland, and many EU countries are sending their troops to Poland.
Poland is gaining in importance, making Germany a less critical country for the USA. During the Soviet period, Germany had this important role and position that Poland has gained today. Through Poland, the USA is ensuring its dominance in Europe. Poland is putting pressure on Germany to sanction Russian gas. The U.S. succeeds in implementing its policy and preserving its dollar empire in Europe. In addition, the Russian aggression against Ukraine creates an opportunity for the U.S. to get the EU to increase the NATO budget. Now the U.S. has its policy through.
Russia posed a threat to U.S. dollar dominance and the Bretton Woods system(1944). This system meant that all countries that had signed the agreement remained dependent on the dollar, as they later used the dollar as a reserve currency. This is why many Arab monarchs have a fixed, strong currency; their economy is dependent on the U.S. Countries like China, Russia, and Iran are not as dependent in the same way; therefore, they decide for themselves whether they want to peg their currency up or down to gain competitive advantages. These countries, thus, have the potential to become great powers. Now it may become clearer why the U.S. and Iran do not have a good relationship, but I will not delve into this topic in this article.
Poland was also the country that hosted the U.S.-led anti-Iran meeting in February 2019, known as the Warsaw Conference. Before 2019, Europe had a positive relationship with Iran; however, the U.S. did not share this view. Consequently, the U.S. withdrew from the nuclear agreement with Iran. Federica Mogherini(1973-) is not participating in the meeting, as she still wants Europe to maintain a good relationship with Iran. The USA also supported an Arab anti-coaliation, against Iran until China changed everything in the Middle East. U.S. President Donald Trump not only strengthened the right wing in the U.S. and tried to increase his power, but also supported the right wing in Europe. He strongly supported Poland and Italy.
The so-called democracy in the U.S. came under serious question when it restricted freedom of expression. By exploiting nationalist sentiments, he managed to wipe out the cultural revolutions that had brought about change. One of them was Black Lives Matter. He rebuilt statues that symbolized tyranny, murder, racism, and class differences. He called it nationalism. Trump is a good example of my claim that a democracy and a dictatorship are in balance between freedom and national security. If you increase freedom, you increase democracy, and if you increase national security, you limit democracy. Therefore, the word ‘democracy’ cannot be applied explicitly to certain countries, as it is a variable that changes over time.
As the police in the West have been given more power and surveillance is increasing due to national security, the so-called democracy in the West is also under heavy pressure. In addition, if Europe believes that Russia can manipulate the elections in Moldova and other countries, then we must put a big question mark on the word democracy. Democracy is about the political influence that people can have on their country. Do they really have this influence when other countries can influence the elections?
On the other hand, right-wing extremists warn of civil war in Europe. The last civil war in Europe was the Yugoslav Wars (1991–2001). A clash between a Muslim minority and a Christian majority in a European country is called genocide and not a civil war. If you mean a fight between the left and the right, then it is doubtful without the intervention of external actors.
The Big Replacement
To reject the claim, I must refer to the theory of the balance of power in a society. Power is delegated to different bodies to create a balance. This means that an imbalance in power will be neutralized. Additionally, I must confirm that the majority does not always imply control. If this were the case, the British would not be able to colonize India. The Arab monarchs could not be in power either.
I confirm that if a minority gains power, the majority will constantly try to overthrow them; conversely, if the majority has power, the minority will often seek independence. In addition, this conspiracy theory should be rejected by considering the work of Pierre Bourdieu (1930-2002). Distribution of power involves economic capital as wealth, cultural capital as knowledge, social capital as networks, and symbolic capital as prestige. This means that the balance of power in a society is not determined by numbers but by the influence of those numbers.
The white race that both invented and practiced racism, reinvented in 2012, the conspiracy theory of the great replacement. The theory of “population replacement” or “the great replacement” originates from a work by Camus from 2012 (Le Grand Replacement). The theory became the slogan of the white nationalist right-wing extremists. Additionally, a date has been set for when this significant event will occur in the future, in line with immigration.
The purpose is to create fear among the population, but also an excuse for right-wing extremists to call the left-wing traitors. We know that immigration from Africa only became serious after Libya lost its stability following the illegal wars of the United States. The so-called Arab Spring in 2010–2011, which was a series of CIA coups, further intensified the instability.
President Barack Obama comments on the Arab Spring during his remarks to the United Nations General Assembly in New York, New York, on September 25, 2012. He said that the USA supports democratic forces and the transformation in these countries. These CIA coups created a large exodus from, among other things, Syria and African countries. Bahrain, which was allied with the U.S., did not experience a civil war or a transformation.
This large exodus not only created chaos in Europe but also in neighboring countries. Iran and Turkey are two of the largest countries that host the most Afghan refugees. I have written in an article how Turkey exploited this great opportunity to its advantage.
Gaza Genocide
The Gaza genocide was the result of right-wing extremism. One can ask oneself the question of how Donald Trump in the USA and Benjamin Netanyahu(1949-)in Israel came to power. It was not the first time that Israelis brought Netanyahu to power, and Netanyahu was a result of Israeli extremism. Netanyahu was not an unknown figure, and everyone was aware of his extremism and strict policies. Even in his youth, he had expressed his ideas and plans in his books. Netanyahu has been a great opponent of a two-state solution.
Already under the Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon (1928–2014), a withdrawal from the Gaza Strip sparked anger in Benjamin Netanyahu , who resigned from Sharon’s government in protest. Netanyahu believed that Israel should use other events in the world to distract people from Israeli settlements; therefore, he used Iraq’s Saddam Hussein(1937-2006) at that time to distract the world, and after Iraq invaded Kuwait, Netanyahu became famous in the Western American media because he had now foreseen a threat that was Saddam Hussein. Netanyahu was against the peace agreement between Israel and Palestine and therefore called it a treasonous act that led to Yitzhak Rabin’s (1922–1995) assassination by an Israeli extremist. Netanyahu compared the Oslo peace agreement to the Munich Agreement, where England gave some of the Czech Republic to Hitler in 1938.
Western countries and the United States helped Palestine with millions of dollars while Israel treated them as sub-humans. Just six weeks before the 9/11 attacks, on July 24, 2001, businessman Larry Silverstein signed a lease for the World Trade Center. The $3.55 billion insurance policy he took out included coverage for terrorist attacks. Like October 7, it was never revealed whether U.S. President George W. Bush (1946–) knew about the attack in advance or not. Still, we knew the attack allowed him to accuse Iraq’s Saddam Hussein of illegal weapons and attack Iraq, an illegal war that went without Congress’s approval. Everyone knew that Saddam Hussein did not have nuclear weapons. Israel and the United States had bombed Iraq’s nuclear plant during the Iran-Iraq war(1980-1988), so there were no more nuclear weapons.
Saddam Hussein was accused of aiding terrorism, but what he helped was not al-Qaeda but Palestine. Since 2001, the Palestinian liberation struggle has been sidelined with terrorism for political reasons. This word “terror” and “terrorism” was a gift from God, for both Turkey and Russia could now use it against their minorities who wanted an independent country. George W. Bush(1946-)not only turned a blind eye, but he also showed his support for these barbaric murders to legalize his own actions in the Middle East.
Back to October 7, 2023, which gave rise to Israel’s invasion of Gaza and genocide. At first, politicians in the West did not want to recognize the genocide and looked the other way. Their media did not cover it, but later, when numerous videos and pictures were posted on social media, it became increasingly difficult for EU countries to keep it hidden. Since the EU is Israel’s largest partner through the association agreement, it was not appropriate to talk about it. EU countries also did not want to come into conflict with the United States.
Shortly after Ireland called for sanctions against Israel, Ireland was threatened by the United States. After Benjamin Netanyahu was convicted in the International Court of Justice for genocide for killing thousands of children and women in his occupation struggle, several EU countries began to recognize Palestine. This was a political victory for Palestine, and in the entire struggle, Hamas only achieved political victories while Palestine came to ruin.
In contrast to Spain, The unpopular German Chancellor Friedrich Merz (1955-) not only continued to sell weapons and support Israel politically but also sent people down to Israel to help Israel in its illegal war against Iran.
Unfortunately, after World War II, the world was dominated by a corrupt system that granted some countries significant power and influence. The United States exercised its veto power fully, helping Benjamin Netanyahu avoid consequences.
Hamas as Terrorism
Western politicians labeled Hamas as a terrorist organization. The question now is, how can Hamas be a terrorist organization when U.S. allies like Turkey and Qatar help this organization? In addition, during the 1970s, Israel began providing support to Ahmed Yassin, a Palestinian Muslim Brotherhood leader, against the PLO. In early 2020, Benjamin Netanyahu transferred money to Hamas through Qatar. In consultation with the U.S. and Israeli governments, $30 million was transferred monthly to Hamas, according to a Qatari official interviewed by Der Spiegel in 2023. This was done via Israeli intelligence officer Yossi Cohen.
October 7
Sources suggest that Israel knew about the October 7 attack a year before it happened. According to the Jericho Wall report, Palestinian leader Yahya Sinwar (1962–2024) had plans for a major attack , but Israeli intelligence failed to act.
Moreover, Egypt warned Israel of a possible attack just days before, yet no action was taken. Benjamin Netanyahu later stated that the attack was something he had long been waiting for.
