To understand what might be different about the way grilling is done in Israel compared with the typical American backyard, it will pay to tune into a rooftop session for the 92nd Street Y by the Israeli chef Michael Solomonov from his Brooklyn restaurant Laser Wolf, where charcoal reigns. With the cookbook author Eden Grinshpan as his sidekick, he will demonstrate various lightly charred kebabs, Israeli-style. It’s part of Roundtable, the new interactive video platform for courses by the 92nd Street Y, New York.
