Melba’s at Wollman Rink

Through the end of the year, Melba Wilson, the Harlem chef and restaurateur, will be serving many of her specialties at Wollman Rink in Central Park. Her restaurant is in the Overlook, the second floor of the rink’s food concession, run by the Bronx-based catering company Great Performances. Last winter, Ms. Wilson had a few dishes like jerk chicken in the Wollman cafe. Now, she offers a full menu of crispy fish strips with chipotle sauce, a chicken and waffle cone, two kinds of fries, a macaroni and cheese with three types of cheese, and brown butter ice cream and eggnog waffle sandwich. The drinks include Harlem Sweet Tea and a mixture of the tea and Lowcountry Lemonade spiked with Maker’s Mark for a Melba’s Palmer. (Sunday)

Talea Beer

This beer company based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and notably owned by women, will open a second taproom. The new space is bright and airy with a skylight and has a full bar stocked with wines, ciders and spirits in addition to the company’s own labels on draft. Food amounts to bites like olives, cheeses and charcuterie. (Thursday)

61 Bergen Street (Smith Street), Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, taleabeer.com.

Delta Terminal C

The restaurant lineup, run by OTG Management in the newly renovated Delta terminal at La Guardia Airport includes four Starbucks locations, which is to be expected, but also some newcomers to the airport dining scene, including Bubby’s, the popular diner-style restaurant known for pies; Sunday Supper for Italian home cooking; Essex Burger from the Lower East Side, which becomes Eggy Weggy for breakfast; and Chuko Ramen from Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, which becomes Poppy’s Bagels in the morning.

Looking Ahead

The Bazaar by José Andrés

ThinkFoodGroup, Mr. Andrés’s company, will open one of his Bazaar restaurants in the Old Post Office in Washington, D.C., the 1899 building that became the city’s general post office in 1914. It was recently turned into a Trump hotel, then taken over by Hilton’s Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with CGI Merchant Group. The Bazaar restaurants, which are Spanish-themed but not strictly Spanish, are found in Las Vegas, Miami Beach, Chicago and soon, in The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad. (Mr. Andrés has his base of operations is in Washington.) The restaurant is to open later this year in the space that housed BLT Prime.

Waldorf Astoria Washington, 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue (12th Street Northwest), Washington, D.C.
